Project: Atlanta Metropolitan State College Science Building Modification
Work Scope - The students and staff of Atlanta Metropolitan State College were inconvenienced when entering the science building at the ground floor to access the elevators. The two elevators were separated by a concrete masonry units wall, finished with gypsum board, and an eight feet tall hollow metal door. Angela R. Brown Construction, LLC removed the cmu wall and it's finish, removed the eight feet hollow metal door to combine the pre-existing corridor (with elevator Cab 1) with a new vestibule (with elevator Cab 2) which provided side by side access to both elevator cabs. Angela R. Brown Construction, LLC also removed pre-existing lighting fixtures and installed five new led light fixtures. A new cmu wall was constructed to support the new double doors for accessing the load dock area. Painting, electrical, flooring, and drywall, were trades applicable for the completion of this project. This project was completed within budget.
Project: Escape Room USA Expansion
Work Scope - Expand existing space of a Douglasville, GA escape game room by adjoining two suites into one suite with a combined over 3000 Sq ft. The Client wanted a finish which would allow for the custom paint applications to be handled "in-house" with complete discretion. Escape rooms are top notch secret for gaming purposes. With this in mind, our work scope included leaving a "paint ready" surface for drywall installed throughout the adjoined suite. ADA code compliance 36" doors were added. We worked around props for the escape room and worked after business hours. This project was completed within budget.
